Citrulline Malate? A popular SCAM in the supplement industry.

While L-Citrulline is a great supplement to have in your daily regimen, there is a big issue in the industry around L-Citrulline supplementation that you need to know about as you are likely being lied to.

I'm sure we’ve seen that some supplements have L-Citrulline in them, and some have Citrulline Malate.

Some even say “L-Citrulline Malate”.

This is a generally a misrepresentation of what is actually in your pre workout.

Citrulline Malate is unfortunately just a mix of cheap malic acid and expensive L-Citrulline, based off as some great form of citrulline.

It's just the two ingredients being mixed together in a cheap blend, and it's sold as “Citrulline Malate”, or “L-Citrulline Malate”.

While this isn't a huge deal in itself, the problem lies in the labelling practices that companies use to trick you into believing their product has an efficacious does of an ingredient when in reality they’re under dosed.

Somehow, shady companies are getting away with labelling their products as “Citrulline Malate” and claiming they have 6-8 grams per serving in their pre-workout, when they typically have a lot less.

Making you think you are getting a high dose of Citrulline, when in reality you are getting sold less.

Take this example:

3g L-Citrulline
3g Malic acid

will be labelled as 6g Citrulline Malate or 6g L-Citrulline Malate

Some companies will put the ratio on there for example
6g Citrulline Malate 2:1

Which means that there is a 2:1 ratio of L-Citrulline to Malic acid
Which means for 6g Citrulline Malate there is actually only 4g of Citrulline in there and 2g of cheap malic acid.

Most individuals will find optimal results at 4 to 10g of pure L-Citrulline, so if you take a pre workout with citrulline malate, you will need to take much more to get the same effect.

At the end of the day, for vasodilation and all other benefits the main thing we should concern ourselves with is how much pure L-Citrulline is in each serving of our pre-workout supplement and we should be wary of any company that uses Citrulline malate in their products.

And as always, if you want to buy products which contain PURE L-Citrulline and not under dosed Citrulline malate then buy your pre workout and other supplements from www.premiumsupps.net
